What this notice means
FBA fees depend on the package weight and dimensions Amazon records. If Amazon measured your item larger or heavier than it is, you pay a higher fee on every unit until it is corrected.
Start with the remeasurement tool in Seller Central: Amazon measures a sellable unit itself, usually within about 10 days, and the result applies across the region. A refund of fees already overcharged has to be requested within 90 days of the charge, one claim per charge.
Wording you may see
- “Your item's dimensions or weight have been updated…”
- “The product size tier for this item has changed…”
- “Fees for this ASIN are based on Amazon's measurements…”
What Amazon requires
From Amazon's Seller Central help pages, re-read daily. Our evidence check applies each of these to your files.

Why these get rejected
- Requested more than 90 days after the fee was charged.
- The item was already remeasured twice in the last 60 days.
- No sellable units in a fulfillment center for Amazon to measure.
- Disputing with photos alone: Amazon's own measurement decides.
